Come Meet the Pantero Team at PACK EXPO 2018

Pantero_PackExpo2018.800x422Pantero is on the prowl! We'll be at PACK EXPO 2018 in Chicago next week, and we hope to see you there.

PACK EXPO International is the premier conference for the packaging industry. Taking place October 14-17 at McCormick Place in Chicago, it is expected to draw more than 50,000 attendees this year from 40+ vertical industries, including packaging for freight and shipping, healthcare, food and beverage, consumer products and more. We wouldn't miss it for the world!

Look for the Pantero team prowling the exhibit floor and attending some of the educational workshops at the convention. We are looking for new supplier relationships, partners and friends.

Why should you meet Pantero?

We may be the new kid on the block in the packaging world, but we're getting ready to make some noise with a wild new approach to packaging supply procurement. Look for our big launch in 2019!

In the meantime, we are still developing relationships with others in the packaging industry. We are especially interested in connecting with:

  • Manufacturers and suppliers for unique packaging solutions
  • New packaging technologies
  • Purchasers looking for ways to simplify procurement of packaging materials

If you're hunting for a new supplier or partner in the packaging industry, we would love to meet you. Look for us on the floor, or contact us to set up a time and place to meet at the show. It'll be wild!

When Do You Need a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Company?

If you're shipping freight, chances are you've come across the term 3PL. What is a 3PL? And how do you know if you need one? What does 3PL mean, anyway? No, 3PL is not C-3P0's lesser-known little sister. 3PL stands for "third party logistics," and 3PLs are an integral part of the freight shipping industry. The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act provides a legal definition of a 3PL: The term third-party logistics provider means a person who solely receives, holds or otherwise transports a consumer product in the ordinary course of business but who does not take title to the product.
